Grab Your Mallets

“Grab Your Mallets”

This 12″x12″ oil painting on gallery wrapped canvas is a fun colorful painting I did this past snowy winter. I bought a bunch of old croquet balls at an antique show and the cadmium orange Fiesta Kitchen Kraft was already in my collection. I love color, I love orange, I love nostalgia!

Bow Street Beauty at Poco’s

Scan_Pic0013

This  is a working title for this latest painting done in acrylic.  Not sure the title is going to stick but it’s a good start.  This is another Portsmouth store front.  It is actually a restaurant named Poco’s Bow Street Cantina in a beautiful old brick building. Between the old brick, the pediments, and the hanging starlights in the window I was intrigued.

Beachwagon series

This is a series of a cool vintage pink Chrysler I always see parked near my painting studio in Hampton, NH.  I always wanted to paint it.  The license plate said beachwagon. I did try painting the whole car,  but didn’t like it until I focused in on the details.

Each is framed in a black 1″ floating frame.

$110 each      Acrylic on 4×4″ panel

Currently I have them displayed on a black board together as a group.

Way cool.
