I don’t paint that much in acrylic these days but I was playing around the other day with small canvases and some acrylic. I was too impatient to use oil with longer drying time. I’m trying to get a few more of these done before an upcoming open studio. These little ornament gems are on 4×4 wrapped canvas to sit on a shelf or mantle. This is a recently painted oil on canvas of a very cool boat a friend of mine spotted up in coastal Maine. I visited her and we found again. it was moored in a little cove called the gut in South Bristol. ME.

After a painting session a friend and I hung around Cape Porpoise,ME. A lobsterman was delivering a truck load of lobster traps on the pier. The afternoon sun produced these fabulous shadow patterns.
